the beer cake – alternating between the bride and groom’s favorite brews & tied with ribbon |
the full spread for the stock the bar party – using the chrome to mimic the feel of the cans, utensils/napkins in beer cases & flowers in old wine/beer bottles |
old wooden bin filed with the couple’s favorite mixed drinks in mason jars – the balloons were filled with water & frozen to make “ice balls” |

In addition to the shower, the husband and I have keep quite busy with a family vacation to the beach, numerous trips to the flea market and the market on the square downtown. And as per usual, my sweet and loving husband continues to surprise me with little items to show how much he cares. The bright and beautiful flowers below were sent to my school one random day just to make me smile. How did I manage to marry someone so incredible? 🙂
As many of my recent crafting projects have revolved around the wedding, I was finally able to finish yet another one from my list that revolved around this glorious day. I’m quite thrilled with the final product as this was by far the simplest project I have completed. All I needed was the frame, which I found at Target for relatively inexpensive. I wanted a place to display our save the date, invitation and program instead of just keeping it in a box and after finding some inspiration online, I pulled this together in a jiffy! Now if I could only find a box to display my bouquet that didn’t cost an arm & a leg…
