DIY fringe scarf & up-cycled old sweater

Here are two easy fashion related crafts that were completely free to complete and are great for the upcoming fall and winter seasons! Enjoy!

Fringe Scarf:

So if you know anything about me, it’s that I’m pretty much obsessed with scarves (which came quite in handy after my surgery) so when I saw a how-to on Pinterest I couldn’t resist. I grabbed the free t-shirt I got for joining the gym and got to work. This was seriously the easiest, fastest, and simplest fashion craft I’ve ever completed! And WAY cheaper (free!) to do this yourself than pay for a similar scarf at a boutique that goes for a min of $24…

And that’s it! Just put over your head with your favorite outfit & there you have an easy fringe scarf 🙂

Leg Warmers & Oversized Sweater (to wear with leggings!):

The husband had this old orange sweater he wanted to donate so when Plato’s Closet opted not to buy it (it was a good number of years old), I decided to try and up-cycle it for my wardrobe.  I was able to make some cute leg-warmers for around the house (I’m always frigid) and a fun oversized sweater to wear with leggings & boots! I’m pretty excited with the results & it was all completely free!
