Since we have moved to Birmingham we have been searching for a house and a place to settle down and finally call our own. During that time, we have been living with my husbands parents (and are very very grateful to have been able to do so!).You should read about the Perks & Pitfalls of Living with the Parents if you haven’t already. During this transition time we have been trying to find a niche in this community to join into. We are so blessed to have found that in Trinity UMC and are continuing to plug into groups and activities there. Between bible study, sunday school, and a pastor who continually speaks to our hearts we are settling in to this community that pours out such love.

We have also been on the hunt for a house that we could make into a home together. A place where we could not only dwell in, but one that would be reflective of our hearts and our lives. A place to gather with friends, raise kids one day, and enjoy this journey of life side by side in.
So a couple of weeks ago we took the plunge and signed our lives away purchased our first house! And I am in love. I just can’t wait to slowly fill this space with love and memories.
Be on the lookout for some upcoming pictures of some crafts especially for the new casa. I’m pretty thrilled about how it’s all coming together. Not to mention being reunited as a little family and finally having our precious little munchkin running around again!
So as I unpack and find everything again (specifically pictures that were pre digital), I will be continuing the Around the World on Wednesdays posts, so fret not, there are plenty of more adventures on the way 🙂 I have so much to share and hardly enough time to write it seems! I am just so excited for what the Lord has in store for us here in Birmingham and I simply can’t wait to walk where He leads us.
