Unless you’ve ben hiding under a rock, then you have likely heard of the Paleo Lifestyle. My husband and I embarked on this adventure a while back and since then have been asked by friends and family if it has really made a difference. And the answer is a huge YES! We had to go even more off of the lifestyle than we would have liked for the past few months living with the parentals (if you haven’t read about the perks and pitfalls of that experience, you should go check it out), but since we’ve been back to cooking our own meals instead of living off of leftovers graciously allowed by the in-laws, I’ve seen a huge change in how I feel daily.
I get a lot of quick and easy inspiration from Pinterest, and we are excited to try out some new recipes I’ve pinned here in the very near future! Follow my Paleo Board on Pinterest to get some ideas as well.
We tend to eat simply, and as fresh as possible, generally partaking of a meat and at least two veggies. Some examples are a grilled meat and grilled or pan seared veggies. We forgo pastas, breads, and the like, but certainly still enjoy the stables such as burgers and sausage dogs – just without the buns. Our favorite “out of the norm” Paleo recipes are:
Paleo Jambalaya with Cauliflower Rice |

Raw Almond Butter |

Chocolate, Coconut, & Almond Bites |

The Paleo Lifestyle is something I definitely want to try to incorporate more into my diet. I'm following your pinterest board to help me get some ideas to let go of heavy carbs! 🙂
