Green Bean Casserole is always a staple at the holidays for any family gathering. Here is a simple recipe to make this staple side dish!
Ingredients
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10 3/4 ounces)
- 1/2 cup milk (organic 1% is out typical choice)
- 1 tsp soy sauce (we use low sodium)
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 4 cups cooked cut green beans (you can use canned or frozen – we have used french style & regular cut)
- 1 1/3 cups french fried onions
Instructions
- Stir the soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in a 8×8 (or 1 1/2-quart) casserole dish.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until it's hot and bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, and stir the mixture.
- Sprinkle with the remaining onions.
- Return to oven and bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
