So here we about to recap week three of this little project. I have always understood the concept of your clothing making you feel a certain way about yourself. They always say, “dress for the job you want not the job you have” or that if you’re comfortable in your clothes then your personality can shine. I could probably go on for days with remarks that boil down to whether or not you are confidant in your outfit will change your whole outlook on the day and your thoughts on yourself.
But I never really understood this until now. Stacy and Clinton would be so proud. It makes a world of difference when you’re not tugging at your clothes, worried about some trend, and just sticking to your own style. I have been more confident these past three weeks with my outward appearance that it has allowed for more confidence to spring forth in other areas, which is a big deal if you read the post from earlier this week. The way you dress reflects who you are, so dress the way you want others to see you – dress the way others can tell who you are with just a glance. Whoever thinks it takes too much effort to look cute or that only models, those in the fashion world, or without a “real” job can dress with style – you are sadly mistaken. It is every bit as easy to grab a cute outfit as it is sweats, and even us dorky professional types can be fashionable. I am living proof.

So with that being said, happy #fashionfriday! Welcome to week three of the 30×30 challenge! If you missed it, be sure to check out outfits from week one, week two, as well as the 30 items I chose. I schedule out all my outfits in advance this week & only made one change due to weather & not feeling well so that was a pretty cool option of being able to plan my outfits out like we do with our meals. Nothing beats organization! I also took a picture of my rain gear to share with y’all. If you can’t tell, my favorite color is green 🙂 I also have a “rainy day purse” that can stow away everything I need on days I wear my boots & jacket & have my big umbrella – flats to change into, my trusty coach purse (yup-the whole thing), a cardigan, my kindle, and sometimes a scarf! I swear it’s like Hermione’s undetectable extension charm was cast on this bag. It holds EVERYTHING and is still a very cute bag, and not massive.
