It’s crazy to think that today I turn 28 years old. That at this time (on a Monday no less) twenty eight years ago I was born in Plano, Texas. It’s hard to believe what all I have accomplished in my short little life. Today, while we will be celebrating my birth, I wanted to also take a moment and celebrate all of the many things I am thankful for and have blessed with over this journey called life.
I have lived in four different states, learning an abundance about change, cultures, and friendships and the first and last are the only ones I’ve ever felt truly at home in.
I have traveled to 11 different countries, witness incredible architecture and history, and serving alongside some amazing people.
I have two degrees from my beloved alma mater & will always believe in Auburn and love it.
I married my best friend and am living my happily ever after with the most incredible man.
I have been blessed with the most incredible friends.
I had a tumor in my thyroid, and now every day I am thankful that I am cancer free, and stronger than ever.
We own our very first house and it is becoming more and more a home every single day.
Through this space, I am exploring my crafty, fashionable, and inner pioneer woman that I never knew could be so much fun to cultivate., and have met the most encouraging community in the process.
Over the years, I’ve read a great deal of books that have encouraged my love for writing, bolstered my faith, and challenged my intellect.
The list could go on for days. I have so much to be thankful for, as the Lord has poured out an abundance of blessings on my life. I pray that on days like today, when I may be tempted to think that it’s all about me, that I remember that it isn’t. That it’s all about Him, and that my life should be a reflection of that.
