What a year 2013 has been! While I have done resolutions type posts in the past, my heart remains the same each year – to simplify my life by ridding the excess and being consumed by Jesus – with minor changes on how to live that out day by day as the years change, yet never lacking in love, joy, compassion, and patience. Join me this year as I let you into my world as I strive for these things. If you’re new here, be sure to visit this page, but for now, let’s remember 2013 as a lot has happened…

Here’s the highlights from 2013, enjoy 🙂
We moved from the coast to the city & lived with our parents for 6 months.
We bought a house & are making it into our home.
I started two new jobs, & am loving making a difference living life as a BCBA.
We went paleo (well, kinda).
We rolled Toomer’s Corner for the final time.
I’ve tried to forget my scar, & learn to embrace instead of hide it.
The meaning of the Bread & Wine increased.
I did the 30×30 Challenge & survived.
We drank some coffee & had a lot of conversation.
I recapped my travels from #aroundtheworld (finally!).
I read some books by Rachel Held Evans that changed my life.
I learned to lament & to love like Mr. Rogers.
We celebrated 2 years of marriage like it was yesterday when we said “I do”!

I can’t wait for what 2014 has in store and what will come our way! Thanks so much for following along in this little space of the blogging world since I took the plunge to become a “real blogger” a year ago today : ) Your comments and emails make my day! Have a type of post you love? Maybe a suggestion or a request? I’d love to hear what you think. Let me know! I pray that in the midst of all these words and pictures, you can catch even a tiny glimpse of the One who created and sustains us, and the One is sufficient in every way.
