You know those desserts that you had as a kid that just stick with you? Well this is one of those! I remember begging my mom to make these for just about any occasion. They are the perfect treat to have instead of the usual cookies or brownies, and I love all things with coconut. I’ve been wanting to share this recipe for a while now, so with Valentines Day right around the corner, and the need for treats, I thought this would be the perfect time!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs (or use a food processor to make your own from the crackers!)
- 1 (14oz) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 cup chopped nuts (we use pecans)
- 1- 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
Instructions:
- preheat oven to 350 degrees & have 9×13 pan ready (do 325 degrees if using glass)
- melt butter, then spread on bottom of pan
- sprinkle cracker crumbs over butter
- pour condensed milk evenly over crumbs
- top with chocolate, nuts, then coconut
- press down gently
- bake 25-30 mins or until lightly browned
- cool before cutting, then enjoy!
