It should be no shock to you that in my obsession with all things organization, I maintain color coded and overly detailed agendas for work and social obligations. Well, today I wanted to share with you my 2016 agenda that I am beyond excited to start using from Jitney’s Journeys, plus share a special offer with y’all so you can get your very own just in time for the holidays!
Whitney & JD are newlyweds, and friends from college, and they have a blog & marketplace where I got this delightfully beautiful planner. Jitney’s Journeys is a collection of life where they talk travel, marriage, faith, and all things creative. Whitney is quite talented, so when the new agenda came out, I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on it! It’s notebook sized, and is absolutely perfect for planning everything and keeping it all in one place. As our family obligations with be expanded next year with the addition of our little one, having one spot to keep my life organized is going to be key! Check out the beautiful pages and some of the awesome features below 🙂
GOAL PLANNING | SCRIPTURE MEMORY | ALL-THINGS ORGANIZED: List out your top goals for the month, exciting things happening this month, and glimpses of grace. Use the etc. space for any brainstorming, illustrating or note-taking. The second page of this spread includes the month’s Dwell Richly verses for you to memorize (each week is also written on the weekly layouts); a place to list out projects around the house that need to be done, deep cleaned or bought; a checklist entitled get it done for all of those tasks that need attention; and finally a section for special occasions (this is a great place to list out occasions such as birthdays, weddings, showers, etc. and write what needs to be done for those events such as planning it or purchasing a gift for the event).
THE LARGE MONTHLY LAYOUT:Â This large layout is great to quickly glance at our family schedule. The size of it leaves ample space for planning and lots of washi tape which I am oh so excited to use!
THE STRATEGIC WEEKLY LAYOUT: Each day is listed vertically (without hours) featuring a box for you to write in your top goal for the day at the top and checkboxes for exercise and water intake at the bottom of each day. I absolutely love these little reminders! There’s also a spot for your top goals for the week at the top of the right side of the page. The bottom of the left page includes the meal planner for Monday through Sunday. I mean, talk about having everything in one place. Obsessed.  There’s even a quick way for you to circle your families’ preferences on how dinner tasted:  the letters S(taple), W(inner), and N(ever again). On the opposite page, you’ll find a two-column checklist for things to buy and a one-column checklist for must-do action items. Next to that, you’ll see the month’s calendar with the current week highlighted as well as the Dwell Richly verse for the week. Inspired by Colossians 3:16, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly,” they added this section as a guide for weekly scripture memory. & I just adore it & was so honored to be a contributor to this process!
[…] 1| Have a method to keep track of all your events! I keep an agenda for all my work & personal events as well as using a calendar to keep track of this space as well. I highly recommend color coding as well to keep organized. (ps – there’s still time to get the planner above for 10% off! See how here.) […]
