One of my favorite things about this time of year is mailing & receiving Christmas cards! I mean, I love snail mail in any form, but especially at the holidays. There’s just nothing like a good greeting waiting in your mailbox 🙂 So each year I scour pictures and cards to make ours and spend the day addressing in a festive way as well. I usually go with Shutterfly as you can almost always snag a pretty good deal if you order quickly, and this year was no exception. Husband enjoys that I save more than I spend on the cards too 🙂 And I’d seriously be lost without my address book (Yup – actually a hard copy address book – I’m obsessed.) You should probably get one yourself. And a personal address stamper while you’re at it. Cuts down time and allows for all the fun designs on the front of your card to stand out when you stamp the back!
After we got married, I started saving each year’s Christmas card & keep them on a ring to display with the newest addition for the year. It’s so fun to see the changes each year 🙂 I have another ring attached for the cards we receive and we display them on our coffee table. I love doing it this way so we can leave the cards out for a bit and it serves as a reminder to pray for our dear friends and family!
