Week 29 Bumpdate

29

size of the baby: acorn squash – 15.2-16.7 inches & 2.5-3.8 pounds!

gender: we are having a GIRL!!!! we are beyond excited!! Now that families know – I am sure lots of monogrammed goodies will be coming her way!

maternity clothes: It’s cold! This isn’t really maternity, but I got some cute warm winter boots that my feet are loving! Otherwise, no change in the usual wardrobe – these jeans & leggings are making it easy to stretch my regular wardrobe out!

movement: She really loves to move about when there’s music playing but has been more active during the day too while I’m at my desk.

sleep:  still not sleeping too well – just can’t get comfortable!

nursery: painting is almost complete! And her bedding came in and I am SO excited for how it turned out!

craving: nothing really – just missing good craft seasonal beers – as long as football is going on this will likely be the case!

symptoms: some fatigue but otherwise feeling great!

glenn is: being so sweet with decorations from Christmas being taken down and things moving for the nursery setup and my endless questions on strollers & car seats & on decor and making her space practical yet adorable! His patience is endless in this area and I am so thankful for that!

looking forward to:  dinner with friends & our social for Sunday School this weekend! Also, getting started on the next step of treatments for Glenn and getting him to feel better – hoping this will start next week!

best moments: a sweet friend brought us dinner & several friends have been asking how they can help with upcoming hospital visits and getting everything together for the nursery as well – we are so blessed to be surrounded with such wonderful friends & family! Also, I’ve been helping Madre after the fire and it’s been fun to spend time with her and search for a new casa & such (despite the circumstances). Makes me hope my little one will love to do these things with me one day as much as I do with my mom and makes me so excited to be a mom myself soon!
