Week 35 Bumpdate

35

size of the baby: a coconut – 17.2-18.7 inches & 4.2-5.8 pounds!

gender: we are having a GIRL!!!! we are beyond excited!! Miss Emma Katherine :)

maternity clothes: found a dress for my shower and I’m pretty obsessed with how comfy it is!

movement: mostly at night and more deliberate than fluttering these days as she is running out of space!

sleep:  still not sleeping too well – just can’t get comfortable after about an hour or two. Lots of flipping from side to side.

nursery: complete and ready for little miss to arrive! We’ve had the essentials (furniture) done for a while, but all the decor and such has been added in now and was finished over the weekend 🙂

craving: Strawberry Abita beer. I saw a huge display at Target the other day and was beyond excited it’s back in season – can’t wait to grab one of these in a month or so!

symptoms: still some rib & back pain. My feet have now decided to swell immensely too – I looked down one day and I didn’t have ankles! It’s so weird! My hands are swelling a bit more now too and so is my face.

glenn is: feeling good! Starting to freak out a bit about the reality of being parents, but equally as excited to meet our precious little girl!

looking forward to: a shower this weekend and seeing friends there and at a dinner for AWF next week!

best moments: watching the Sozo Children’s Choir perform at the Madre’s work! I love finding out about new organizations that are making a difference in the world and being able to meet those people firsthand!
