I am just so excited to share miss Emma’s nursery with y’all! Like I have mentioned, we wanted to keep her space pretty classic and simple with a touch of girly of course. We chose mint & coral as our main accent colors, and then gray, white, navy and gold as well to sprinkle in. I just LOVE how it all turned out and it was exactly as I envisioned! We can’t wait for her to be here to occupy her new little space 🙂
I wanted to be able to have a neutral background and then add pops of color with bedding and accessories. The striped wall is something I was dying to do so I was glad the husband was willing to go along with it! The gutter shelves were his idea for her little library and is perfect on that wall too!
Most of the pieces in her nursery as far as furniture go have some sort of family connection which we love. The crib was my husbands when he was a baby, the table with the lamp was hand made by my grandmother’s uncle, the rocking chair was from an aunt, and the changing table was his grandfather’s and was hand made by someone older than him in his family as well. The toy chest is the only thing not from family, but it was a piece found on the side of the road that we painted!
Since it is her nursery after all, I wanted to have some playful decor that also could be learning opportunities! I found these letters at a few different places and was able to mix & match and then just paint them all white and I’m so excited with how it turned out!
