You may remember the gutter shelves we have in the nursery for E’s books. Well, I had also wanted a higher shelf to be able to put pictures and other “breakables” on so now that we got our pictures printed & framed, the husband whipped up another floating shelf to complete the wall and I LOVE how it turned out. I also wanted to make shadow box with stuff from the hospital and this was the perfect place to put it.
I kept our hospital bracelets, the hat she wore right after she was born, the blanket she was wrapped in, and the hat she wore the rest of the time in the hospital. The gown is what she wore home from the hospital (it was so big on her!). If you can’t tell there was certainly a stripe theme 😉 The card is what was in the bassinet in the hospital with her and the footprints were printed from the digital footprints they took right after she was born. She was just so tiny!
