Much like the pumpkin patch, I feel like it’s imperative that we document the first time Emma meets Santa Claus. I’m not gonna lie, waiting in line for hours to see Santa was not on the top of my priority list, nor was paying for said experience. Thankfully, my mom’s company has a party each year where Santa is in attendance for the families. We had planned on going to that until we found out our neighborhood would be hosting a breakfast with Santa AND Mrs. Claus. Now, you certainly can’t beat that.
Pictures went just about as well I thought they would. Hilariously terrible! At least she is still adorable in that little plaid dress!
This was also the day that marked Emma learning to truly differentiate a stranger from someone she knows. In a way, it was a great learning moment. I mean, I need to look at the positives, right? When we got back home to our tree, she was filled with the Christmas spirit again, so I had to snap a few more of our (usually) happy little girl!
