Last week our tiny tiger turned one and we got to celebrate this past weekend with friends and family! The theme for her first birthday party was simple & girly. Shades of pink, coral, and gold for the decor. And of course, a fluffy tutu. Because seriously, why not?! I combined a few banners we already had with a few of these fun gold & white accents. I also added in some clean white flowers. For the cupcakes and her smash cake, I found these adorable gold glitter “one” toppers that were perfect. Keeping the gold glitter items going, I found some perfect small clothespins to clip her monthly photos along the garland on the mantle.
We kept the food & drinks simple as well. We opted for two different punches (well really just one punch two ways – one sans alcohol, but also one with champagne). A few finger foods rounded out the menu, leaving plenty of room for cupcakes! I found these perfect white and gold plates, cups, napkins & paper straws all at Target, which made cleaning up super easy!
Emma refused to take a nap prior to her party, so before presents and cake, she opted to snuggle with gran and take a tiny cat nap right in the middle of her party. Which was hilarious. But it meant she was quite awake for the real festivities! And that everyone could grab some food and eat and just hang out. Plus she was too adorable with her giant tutu popping out as she slept! We seriously have the best friends and family who love Emma so well!
