Every year for the Forth of July since we’ve been in Bham, we’ve made it a tradition of have LITs, so I wanted to share them with you today! Now, the other week, I was telling someone what we did and they were like “what in the world is an LIT?”. Now, this person was a Northerner, so I’m now wondering if calling a Long Island Iced Tea an LIT is just a Southern thing – thoughts friends?!
Any way you refer to it, it’s seriously the perfect summer drink and is always a hit at cookouts or other summer gatherings. I will say this – while this drink may look like your typical Southern tea – it packs a rather tasty punch so you don’t need to make many!
