Earlier this year, Emma starting taking her first steps and man has that been a game changer! Ever since, she’s been romping around 24/7 and always on the go. The other things she’s gotten really good at is taking off her little shoes constantly as she rotates from outside to inside, to naptime, the couch, her teepee, and so on. Girl LOVES her some shoes. But most days, you’ll see her in one of her pairs of moccs because they’re more like wearing socks as far as comfort goes.
We’ve long been fans of Freshly Picked Moccasins since she was itty bitty, so it’s likely no surprise that we still adore them. They were the first pairs she wore to daycare. She had a special pair for her first birthday. And she learned to walk in them. They are seriously just so perfect for little feet. They are durable, and comfortable, and they actually stay on! Making them practically the only shoe I send her in to daycare. I’m not gonna lie, I was a little sad when it started getting warmer because I thought I was going to have a to figure out another option for her, but they are great even in this crazy Alabama heat. And they are so. stinkin. cute.
We generally stick to solid colors that work with lots of outfits and are versatile, and a good neutral gray is always my go to. But there are SO many fun colors and designs that it’s truly hard to contain my excitement. Give me all the leopard, bows, pumpkin pie (I mean, hello Auburn orange!), and Mary Jane’s there are. And the little boy options are just as adorable! And the new Oxfords. Y’all. They are precious.
