We’ve been on the theme of Emma’s birthday recently, as well as simplification & decluttering. One area that most families deal with in regards to excess is certainly the toy department. I mean, the number of gadgets and stuffed animals Emma has is sometimes overwhelming to me! So for birthdays and Christmas (for all of us), I am always looking for gift ideas that are more experiential in nature – not always something tangible. This year, we asked for a zoo membership for Emma’s birthday, and it was the best decision! She loves being outside, loves animals, and it’s a great opportunity to learn.
