
Who doesn’t love animals? So we of course made a week devoted to them! There are SO many crafts, books, and games, that we had lots of options and this was just a subset. A great outing to do with this week as well would be to take a trip to your local zoo or even pet store!

- Goggly eyes
- Hot glue gun

WEDNESDAY
Morning:
Book- Splat the Cat Sings Flat (or any Splat the Cat book)

Afternoon:

- Paper Plates
- Acrylic Paint
- Rainbow Yarn
- Small Black Pom Poms
- Googly Eyes
- Marker Pen
- Glue
- Scissors
- Sticky Tape

THURSDAY
Morning:
Book – Somewhere in the Ocean

Jellyfish craft:

- small paper bowl
- tissue paper (in any colors)
- self-adhesive curly gift bow (in any colors)
- googly eyes
- white string (to hang it)
- school glue
- packaging tape (or any sturdy tape)
- scissors
We improvised a bit on our jellyfish & they turned out so cute! Substitute gift bows with crepe paper rolls instead!

Afternoon:

- Popsicle sticks
- Yarn
- Glue
- Scissors
- Pipe cleaners
- Beads
- Googly eyes
FRIDAY
Morning:
Book – King of the Zoo

Lion craft

- Paper plate
- Paint
- Noodles
- Construction paper
Rather than noodles – we opted to use cotton balls for the mane & it worked just as well!
