I mean, cotton balls make every craft better. This raincloud is so simple to make and the kids love the multiple textures to work with. This fun video helps explain where rain comes from too!
Materials:
- blue construction paper
- white construction paper
- glue
- scissors
- string
- cotton balls
Instructions:
- Draw multiple raindrops on one half of a white paper
- Color in the raindrops with light blue
- Cut out the raindrops
- Draw a big cloud on one half of a white paper
- Cut out the cloud
- Glue the cloud on the top half of the blue paper (blue paper should be vertical)
- Glue down the raindrops at differing heights under the cloud.
- Cut out short pieces of string to connect the raindrops to the cloud
- Glue the string down, tucking under the tip of each raindrop
- Put glue down on the cloud, and place cotton balls to cover the entire cloud.
