Do you remember my sweet friend Heather? She had a heart attack in Jan of 2019, two open heart surgeries, had an LVAD placed, and spent 30+ days in the hospital in ATL fighting for her life. Then just 9 months later almost to the day, she had the LVAD explanted. Y’all prayed with such fervor for her, and God moved mountains to heal her. Plus, she is a badass 😉 Well, in February right before the world shut down, she was honored as the speaker for the American Heart Association‘s Atlanta Heart Ball to tell her story.
When she asked if I could make it, I was thrilled, because I wouldn’t have missed it! She is such an incredible story teller, and hers is worth telling to the masses. The ball was at The St. Regis, and it was to die for!
The Heart Ball itself was a gorgeous event. While I don’t own any red, I was excited to rewear my dress from the FB premiere paired with some red tassel earrings to spice it up.
