I hate wire shelves. Like loathe them. So when we moved into this house, one thing I wanted to do pretty quickly was update our master closet.
Before
The husband and friends put in the flooring (which is gorgeous), we painted the walls this perfect forest green color, and we got these shelves to put up ourselves as well. I also ordered uniform slim gray velvet hangers and I’m obsessed.
I wanted to create a space that felt more like a boutique, and was spacious. Fashion is so much more than clothing, and I wanted a place that I loved to get in the morning. A place that was beautiful itself, and displayed everything instead of having in crammed in.The husband just wanted a place to hang things lol. We have a large window in our closet, and natural light is perfect.
