This was the first year the Birmingham Museum had this event, and we’re hoping it’s a new staple in Birmingham! A NYE experience for the sophisticated – a night out to celebrate the new year in a new way.
An evening of the unimaginable. A night of celebration at the Birmingham Museum of Art for the 2022 New Year’s Eve party. Reflect on the year while immersing yourself in the culture, excitement, and surprises that accompany a never-before-seen countdown to a new year.
The Birmingham Museum of Art has been sparking the creativity, imagination, and liveliness of the
Birmingham community for over 60 years. Through the museum’s many year-round initiatives and
programs, it connects all its people to the experience, meaning, and joy of art, while also
driving cultural diversity and in turn, helping Birmingham thrive. Events like BMA NYE allow for the Museum to continue to reinvigorate and revive the Birmingham community.
We went to John’s City Diner before the event, and stayed at the Tutwiler afterwards so we didn’t have to worry about driving and it was the best decision! We treated the night as an extra celebration for our anniversary since it’s in January as well. Such a fun night!
