A good game day dip is always a must! We have a similar version to this dip already in our vault – however we wanted to create something a bit different as a cheeseless option given one of our guests doesn’t eat dairy. It was super easy to whip together, and one of the best dips we’ve ever made!
RECIPE
Texas Caviar Dip
Ingredients
- 6 roma tomatoes diced
- 1 bell pepper (any color) seeded
- 1 medium onion finely diced
- 2 jalepeno peppers seeded & finely diced
- 1 large avocado peeled pitted & diced
- 15 oz can corn drained
- 15 oz can black beans drained
- 1/2 bunch of cilantro chopped
- 4 tbsp lime juice
- 4 medium garlic cloves pressed
- 1 tsp salt to taste
- 1 tsp pepper to taste
- 1 tsp tajin to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, onion, and bell pepper
- Then mix in jalepeno, avocado, corn, black beans, and cilantro
- Stir in lime juice and garlic cloves
- Add salt, pepper, and tajin to taste
- Combine all thouroughly
- Serve with tortilla chips
