Emma, like basically every other gal, is quite obsessed with Taylor Swift. So of course for her 8th birthday, she wanted a Taylor Swift themed birthday party. We gathered all the details here to recreate your own Swiftie bash!
Decor
The photo booth backdrop was too good not to pass up. It now lives in Emma’s playroom and is perfect decor there as well! We got some iridescent table cloths and opted to use the plates/cups napkins from Defy (they were red and black) since they were on theme with the RED era. Keeping with the iridescent theme, these heart streamers were such a cute touch. While we’ve done both cakes and cupcakes in the past, this year we went with just cupcakes (Publix is our go to for cupcakes and balloons) and these cupcake toppers were adorable given they were the album covers.
I know that outfits are not decor per se, but you know we like to dress for the theme. I got our shirts all off Etsy and Emma ended up wearing one she already had, but had this one for a back up. Glenn was a good sport (not at all a Swiftie) and dressed the theme too!

Playlist
Naturally, we created a playlist with all of Emma’s favorite songs while in the party room. This is purely a sample, but ensured we hit all the top picks for the day since we only had a hour in the room (the other time was jumping). Feel free to save on Spotify.
Goody Bags
Each goody bag was filled with a few fun surprises that Emma hand picked for her friends.
These adorable heart shaped glasses were such a hit. Obviously sparkly lip gloss was a must. Plenty of friendship bracelets were involved of course. Everyone got album bookmarks as well as handfuls of themed stickers. (pro tip: go through them first and pull any explicit lyrics).
Location
Defy – Trampoline park birthday parties are great! We’ve done indoor “soft play” places when she was younger and this is basically the older version. We had a private party room and they took care of pizza and drinks as well as plates, cups and napkins. They helped decorate AND clean up. They made it incredibly easy from start to finish and I would highly recommend them!
