
If you’re looking for a a fun project with your kiddos over the school break – this one is a must do! This super simple slime is perfect for kids of all ages and is a great sensory activity as well.
Materials
- Borax
- School Glue
- Food Coloring
- Large Mason Jars
- Glitter
- Silicone mat for mess free play
Instructions
- Combine 1/2 teaspoon Borax and one cup warm water
- Stir until dissolved
- In another bowl, slowly add Borax mixture to one cup of glue
- You might not need all of the borax solution; add only enough until the slime is no longer sticky
- Stir together with spoon, careful to not add too much solution too quickly
- Add food coloring to achieve desired color
- pro tip: remember that a little goes a LONG way
- Add glitter or other small beads or jewels for even more fun
- pro tip: you need WAY MORE glitter than you think you do
- Once mostly combined, use hands to kneed together until the right consistency is achieved
