OK, to think we have tried *just* about every flavor of Joyride in the past year is a bit wild, but here we are, and here are our opinions! Bigs fans of “better for you” candy, and even bigger fans of Ryan Trahan over here. One of our favorite summer additions to our errands were making #joyrideruns – so fun!

The Rankings
Top two, hands down, are the Cherry Berry Ropes & the Sour Worms! Perfection. No notes.

The Sour Rainbow Ropes & Sour Pink Lemonade Strips are a super close second and always a favorite. Consider this a formal petition to bring back the Sour Rainbow Ropes from this summer’s Golden Ticket Limited Edition flavors!

The Sour Rainbow Strips and the Sour Strawberry Ropes are a good alternative since the Sour Rainbow Ropes are unavailable. And you can’t beat the Sour Blue Raspberry Strips – especially in the tiny package! The Sour Fun Drink Strips and the Apple Strips are also a solid choice! Basically – the strips & ropes are the overall top choices with preference only on flavor profiles per person!

The sour shapes, as I’ll call them, are our “just ok” flavors. Don’t get me wrong, they’re good; quite sour though, and come in fun flavors; it’s not what we’re reaching for on the regular.

The Gummy Busters are our overall least favorites. I know, I know. And I’m sure they aren’t quite trying to imitate Nerds Clusters, but sadly they just miss the mark for us.

Now, let’s talk about the Gummy Bears. No gummy bear will ever compare to Haribo. I said what I said. These are tasty – but as a fruit snack you’d include in a kids lunch kind of way, not in a fun candy treat kind of way.

While I feel confident we haven’t tried all the flavors out there, but I do think this is a pretty comprehensive list!
Special Edition Mystery Box
We LOVED the 50 States in 50 Days series, so this Wheel of Doom Mystery Box was GENIUS. We never got the Sour Strawberry Strips, BUT we did end up getting ALL FIVE of the Mystery Cards. (!!) Plus the tiny Wheel of Doom fidget spinner is just the cutest thing ever.

Holiday Joyride Editions
These are always fun to be festive, not favorites, but certainly fun. What would be delightful is even smaller packages for true trick or treating hand outs come Halloween next year!
