Christmas Party Games | DIY

Holiday Sweater Cookie Decorating Contest

Ingredients:

  • Sweater Cookies (cute cookie cutter options)
  • Icing (red, white, green an minimum plus any other colors you want!)
  • Sprinkles ( the more festive the better!)
  • Small plates
  • Small numbered cards

We do two cookies per girl each year with the instruction of make on “tacky” and one “cute” – the cookies are photographed with just their number and sent for the parents to vote on a favorite from each category as well. Then they get to take their cookies home and/or eat them!

Ping Pong Ball Game

Materials:

  • Plastic Cups
  • Ping Pong Balls
  • Small Bows
  • Small Gifts
    • enough for every player and all under $5 (scrunchies, lip gloss, hair clips, candy, etc)

Set up Instructions:

  • Place a row of cups along the end of the table with tape
    • Each cup should have a bow on the back
  • Place small gifts under cups along the top of the table (acts as a bit of a guard rail too) and place different colored bows on top
    • The colors of these bows should match the ones on the cups taped to the table
  • Place a cup of ping pong balls at the head of the table

How to Play:

  • Take turns rolling the ping pong ball along the top of the table until it lands in a cup
  • Once the ball lands in a cup, the roller takes a cup from the top of table with a matching bow and collects that gift
    • they no longer roll
  • If no gift remains for the color bow, the next roller goes
  • Continue play until all players get a gift
