Let’s Rally Together

Where faith and ambition go hand-in-hand. Rally is network of ambitious Christian leaders ready to take it to the next level with expert coaching and a supportive community of other Kingdom-minded women. In short, it is a Christian Community for Female Business Owners. Want to learn more? Check out this page for all the details, and see what Rally is all about. But for now, let me tell tell you my story about Rally, and how I landed in the space that quite literally has impacted my life for the better.

After seeing Rally pop up on Rachel’s Instagram, I was curious and excited. This was exactly the kind of space I had been longing for. But almost equally, I was terrified. Creatives kept being named. The business that were represented were purely online. And the women who owned them were young, adorable, and thriving – and I felt instantly unqualified to join. I was a BCBA with multiple brick and motor clinical spaces, was managing a large team of people, was not in my 20s, and wasn’t working in the margins of nap time. I was not “their girl”.

Thankfully, Emily was relentless in her responses to my doubts, covering me in encouragement in even those very first voice messages, wholeheartedly convinced that I absolutely belonged and that any other rhetoric was foolish. And she was right. Connections started forming, conversations were had, and friendships were started. Not because we understood each others business models. Or that any of us had all the right answers. But because we were all longing for the same thing. Community with other high achieving women who deeply believe in pursuing Jesus.

So slowly; through co-working calls (one of my favorite things now), expert coaching calls, and lots of messaging this online community has become such a daily rhythm. The online space is wonderful, and utilizing technology to the fullest is certainly the way to go. However, nothing, absolutely nothing, compares to real life connection.

Retreat was the experience I didn’t even know I needed. After a season of being everything to everyone, and being the one who continually had to not only hold it together, but create and curate every tiny detail; being able to let go was a gift I will cherish forever. I was absolutely terrified to step through those doors the first retreat. Those same doubts crept back in with a vengeance. Will I fit in? Will they like me? My business is so different. I’m too nerdy. I’m not the right type of gal for this space.

But from the moment I walked through those doors, I felt not only acceptance, but love, encouragement, and genuine curiosity and acknowledgement for what I do and who I am. The women present in that building could relate to the challenges of entrepreneurship in a way I had been craving. Despite almost all of them having little idea of my field. Something happens when you strip away the labels the world has thrust upon us, and dive into the one identity we share regardless of our fields. To be in a space that centered worship, that focused on our divine purpose, from which our work flows was life giving. I am forever grateful that I said yes to Rally, and most especially for saying yes to in person spaces.

Be prepared for more posts to come on additional retreats; Rachel & Emily have created a space that I will continually champion. Curious about how you can join Rally too? Ask me any question, or check out this page for the breakdown with all the information you might need. And follow along with Rally on Instagram for all the fun!
