I simply ADORE a good book. I have always loved reading since I was a little kid. I was the one who found my older brother’s school reading lists and made sure my mom let me read along as well. And since my brother never really did care for reading, he was more than happy for me to give him a synopsis of the stories for his classes in exchange for teaching me some athletic skills on the field or court. It was a win-win situation growing up. I still enjoy reading for pleasure, never leave town without my kindle, and will forever argue that the book was better than the movie. In every situation. I have such a vivid imagination (which in all other aspects of life tends to get me in trouble), but when it comes to literature is every bit the reason I enjoy it so much.
So in light of this little obsession of mine, and the fact that I don’t always have/keep a physical copy of the books I’ve finished, I wanted to keep all these books together in a virtual library of sorts. I stumbled across Good Reads through a couple of different friends, and finally took some time to check it out & I am so very glad I did! It makes it really easy to keep track of not only the books I have already read, but also what I am currently reading, and want to read in the future.
