Media worth consuming. What we’re listening to, watching, and reading recently.
Books
- While at the beach, I read Just Friends and it was so cute! I definetley read it because of how adorable she and Ryan Trahan are and we have loved watching their series on his channel, but it was the perfect beach read.
- I’ve also been reading Don’t Try This Alone – Toni is such a gem and so full of truth and conviction.
- I just finished listening to You (narrator knocked it out of the park on this one!) and started reading the paperback of Hidden Bodies as our library didn’t have the next audiobook in the series.
- I also just finished listening to The Boy Who Lived as David Holmes reads himself. It’s such an eye opening read into the industry and nostalgic for someone who loves the Wizarding World.
- I half listened/half read The Woman in Suite 11 (the follow up to The Woman in Cabin 10) and it was just as good as the original.

Podcasts
- Podcasts have been on the back burner recently and books on the rise. Nothing new here!
TV Shows
- We’re not currently watching it, but since I’m reading the series that inspired the show, if you haven’t seen YOU on Netflix you should indeed watch it.
- This summer we also watched Ryan’s Top 10 Places in America series which is more like a mini TV series so that’s why I’m putting it here.
Movies
- The Enola Holmes series is such a cute one, so we of course were excited to watch the 3rd installment when it just recently came out.
- This of course made us want to introduce Emma to the Sherlock Holmes films (with Robert Downey Jr. & Jude Law and she was a big fan of those as well!
- We also recently watched Back to the Future which is super nostalgic and a fun story line.
Music
- With lots of lake time this summer we made this playlist & it’s been on repeat both on the water and on the road.
