Method
Hard Boiled Eggs
- place eggs in a single layer and cover with cold water
- bring water to a rolling boil over high heat
- as soon as the water reaches a boil, turn off heat and cover the pot
- let eggs sit for 10-12 minutes
- move eggs to ice bath - wait 15 minutes before peeling
- peel eggs carefully
- once peeled, cut eggs in half lengthwise and separate out yolks into a bowl
Egg Filling
- smash egg yolks in bowl with fork
- mix together mayo, mustard, and relish into the smashed yolks
- season with salt and pepper to taste
- scoop into piping bag and set aside
Deviled Eggs
- place flour, egg wash, and panko in three separate bowls
- take the egg white halves and dip in flour first, then egg wash, then panko
- drop in fryer until golden brown then remove and set aside on paper towel to cool
- fill eggs with yolk filing and top with paprika
